For sure. In some cases I’m all for the use of AI, issue is what the press hypes isn’t the stuff that’s going to be of real benefit and the real work is happening elsewhere

www.sciencedaily.com/releases/202... need to find a better source of this but ML was used in the analysis. Good call out though. But I think without getting the point lost in the weeds that we were talking about AI being used in breakthroughs. For Alzheimer’s too.

Thank you. I wasn’t sure if it was specifically Gen AI that you didn’t like. I did an AI Bootcamp and I’m not a fan of OpenAI because I’m a privacy first person and looking at companies like Tempus who use AI to help detect cancer is what I’m more interested in. But that’s a story for another day

Genuine question, what are your thoughts on AI models being used to come up with new medicines to treat/test diseases like the one which apparently can determine if you will get Parkinson’s 100% (in trials)?

Awesome! Probably a loaded question but what’s the best learning resource you used for it? Gotta pick it up for work and went to see what I should use as a resource and got overwhelmed lol

Harold Terens volunteered to go to Normandy a few days after D-Day in 1944 to help bring back American and British POWs to England. This weekend, he returned to tie the knot with his sweetheart.

Edited a video on the new iPad Pro & Final Cut. Brilliant! Kinda surprised about the “lack of desktop quality apps” chat. Seems to me that orgs have to lean in & build them, clearly a market (or seems like it to me). Not to say Apple couldn’t make improvements but there is enough there to start.
