One problem of having so many former prosecutors as legal commentators is that people will think that the Supreme Court handing Capitol rioters a temporary win is the story of the day. When what should be leading every newscast is that is that the Supreme Court is making our nation ungovernable.

Funny, when I was in undergrad they were pushing the same line but for philosophy PhDs. Turns out an undergrad degree in philosophy was excellent prep for diverse skills such as working in a ski shop and law school.

I forgot about the De Laurentiis role in the 1984 film. His work - particularly in Flash Gordon - seemed cheesy and out of date to my early teenage eyes when the movie came out. And I thought sci-fi airbrushed Econolines were cool at the time.

East coaster here who spent most of my formative years in Colorado and was even Bar Mitzvahed in Denver. Most Jewish families I knew in Colo originally hailed from Chicago area. Very, very different cultural milieu than the East coast.

It would be a pretty big f'ing deal to allow otherwise legal dispensaries to function like any other legal business by: (1) accessing the banking and e-payment system; and (2) claiming tax deductions and benefits. Does this do that? Not sure. At least removes one major impediment, afaik.
