Over the 2 of them? Sure. I think b/c Hillary was a woman, they were concerned a dynamic man would overshadow here, so that was also a factor.

I think it's weird that there are still people on here claiming there is a conspiracy of silence to shut people up about Biden's age, when every single MSM outlet has been talking about nothing but for a week. And if you mean voters, those are the folks who voted for Biden in the primary, right?

He was great at it! I'm a compulsive follower of US politics, and whenever I hear his name in connection with Hillary's, I think, "Oh, yeah, right, he was her running mate, I guess?" I think about her pantsuits more often than I think about him.

How am I silencing anyone? I am an academic editor & poster on BlueSky. If I happen to think and express, contra some other Dems, that it makes more sense for Biden to stay in the race than not, how does that turn me into a movie villain? Hate the DNC if you want (I'm not a fan), but who is "you"?

I also remember March 2008, when a cousin who worked at CAP was talking about a group of top Dems who were going to convince Hillary to drop out real soon, and if by "real soon" he meant three months later, then that worked.

Somebody's jealous certain rich Dems wanted him to be the savior presidential candidate a few times, but he couldn't get off the ground because he has no detectable personality, whereas Biden's a basically good guy most people relate to.

Also there are some instances in which it is unclear whether the word "elohim" should be translated as "gods" or "judges," e.g., from Psalms, "God presides in the divine assembly; in the midst of elohim God judges." I have not included those, lest people be concerned about translation.

I am not saying that the Hebrew Bible has no instances of "I am the only God"-type talk. But it is far, far less common than "Other gods, sure, whatever, but not for you, Israelites."
