Like, I get if it's "you have pronouns in your bio, this labeler applies your pronouns to your posts automatically" 'coz that could help avoid misgendering, but also on the third hand, the obvious exploit is that now trolls can more easily target the pronouns they want. (2/2)

(Agreement) I have exclusively used the app 'til now (and thus only kinda get how labelers work), but that's, like, kinda mind-boggling? Like, if it's *other people* going around reading posts and applying labels to profiles based on behaviors, that's gender assignment with more steps, no? (1/2)

100% this. It's incredibly easy for "here's this extra bit of nuance for onlookers to consider" to come across as "This is wrong *because* of this nuance" or "you haven't considered this" if you're not explicitly agreeing (especially with online discourse making confrontation equally or more likely)

It's made me lose sleep (because of how enthralling it is), is highly aesthetic, and has slapped me upside the head with at least one revelation about the things I want in a relationship IRL (so far). It's the first game in a while that I actually *want* to 100% because I wanna see everything.

Big same. Did my first playthrough without it, but once [redacted] it feels like the game is narratively justifying you doing it. (It's also the first game in a while that I've *wanted* to 100% because it's so good/hella aesthetic)

If it's anything at all like an RPG inventory, and I can save gear slots/outfits, heckin' yes please. Worst case scenario I end up in my skivvies and I've been more comfortable about that after playing a character on stage that loses his trousers once a show.

Im the 80s, the magic word was "communist" in Korea and "satanic" in America. This latest batch of banners tried "woke" but it wasn't scary enough, so they switched to "porn." In every case, the word means "books with depictions of the types of people we don't want in society."

Just as a caution, I'unno if it's drivers or a massive memory leak, but for a while on Windows you could only play for 30-60 minutes before massive performance dips. Not sure if 'cuz new computer has more resources, or because it's genuinely better on Linux, but it's been way better on LMDE for me.

That's probably the best way to watch it these days. I liked the original dub quirks and all, but it's hard to find. I've heard the Netflix dub butchered a lot of important translation/intent. The subs are consistently good, and IIRC have the same seiyuu in the Rebuild movies.

I picked Kris when Crystal came out "because I could" and then created one of each gender trainer until Gen 6 or 8 (skipped 7 until very recently) where I have only enjoyed playing femme. Same for other RPGs (FE, GW1/2, FF, ES, ME, Soulsborne, BG3, etc.) (This is incredibly relatable, yes)
