MF doesn't even know how Interlibrary Loan works. When finished, you give the (clearly marked) ILL book to the librarian who makes sure it goes on the ILL truck which takes it back to the library it came from. You do NOT "put it in the drop box".

My guess is he really did put it in the drop because he’s incredibly dumb.

Also, the ILL temporary sticker on the book I'm reading right now ("Game Show Confidential" by Boze Hadleigh) has a clearly marked lost book charge maximum of $115. a) that's what you get in the liberal hellscape that's California. b) no wonder Hillsdale can pass up federal funding.

I know this because just this morning I returned a bunch of library books (figuring UCLA won't enforce parking early on the 4th of July, and they weren't!): There are signs at the drop box saying, Do NOT drop ILL books in here!
