That argument doesn't convince me because I'm not willing to reject a qualified candidate because of her gender or race. I can't help what Trumpers like or don't like. Plenty of voters don't vote because of a lack of excitement/cynicism about democracy. I want to avoid that.

I mean, I get what you're saying and in an ideal world that'd be great but pragmatically what you want and what works for a campaign for the President of the United States of America isn't the same thing.
