all of the talk about biden's candidacy is very frustrating because every article seems to be "everyone should agree he's gotta go, ?????, win election." it's hard to tell if this is a good or bad idea without knowing how you want to do it.
what's the plan here folks?
If it is a "Biden is out" situation, I think they might have to treat it the same way they would if he had passed away suddenly: Harris steps in, they rally around her, she pulls out the campaign stops, maybe makes some moves on SCOTUS (?), push until November.
how are you going to deal with electors bound by law? a fight over who gets nominated? ballot deadlines already having passed? early voting? ballots having been printed? legal challenges that keep the nom off the ballot? a lack of consensus that replacing him on the ballot is a good idea?
All of this started with the NYT editorial board, the one that decided to make it their thing to get a bunch of college deans fired for being "woke"? I'm just assuming it comes from that place and treating it as being in a similar spirit.
