According to Wikipedia, the new Green MP for North Herefordshire (Ellie Chowns) is an Effective Altruist. "Chowns is a member of Giving What We Can, a community of people who have pledged to give at least 10% of their income to effective charities.[13]"

my reaction on seeing this was "tithing is not EA", so for anyone else with questions it's not just an EA charity, it's an EA charity that has loads of dodgy Metrics to discover the best charities to funnel resources too, and they're all called shit like "Practical Altruistic Healthcare Solutions"
