I am reading Hannah Arendt right now and she makes this point. Over and over. With a freakin hammer. There are a LOT OF PEOPLE in the world very eager to pick a group and blame it for their problems, esp when they don't have a strong grasp of where those problems really come from.

Watching #DoctorWho season 4. Donna Noble has quickly become my favorite companion. I love how she noped him hard when he first offered to bring her along. Then when she changed her mind she basically forced her way onto the TARDIS.

I am also thrilled that Pixar now has TWO movies where the plot catalyst is a 13 year old girl goes through puberty. Thirteen is ROUGH BUDDY and I love seeing these girls get some compassion.

Inside Out 2: I didn't cry* as much as when I watched 1 for the first time, but that hug near broke me. Also excellent representation of an anxiety attack, applause. *(I measure the quality of Pixar movies based on how much I sobbed in public, why, don't you?)

One thing I'm liking in S3 of #DoctorWho is the emphasis on how scary he actually is. Not just to the people that cross him, bc he WILL freeze you in time, but to just regular ppl around him. He is a vortex of collateral damage.
