Who knows if 54-40, SOTW, Jane Siberry, The Hip, Jann Arden and hundreds of other not-quite-mainstream artists would have been signed at all if funds for recording and touring weren't in place to ensure corp profit? We can't all be Anne Murray! 😀

It’s a policy that recognizes that we sit right beside the biggest cultural-industrial complex on Earth, and need support our own artists if we don’t want to just be part of the USA.
