Absolutely. The main thing I've taken away from dealing with similar people in my life is that what they mean when they say they "don't think" it'll happen is that they don't care if and (especially) when it does happen. They WANT TO not care.

It's why I've long felt like Star Wars side stuff gets better when it cuts some of that stuff out to then either focus real hard on one or two aspects, or to throw something new into that space. Let parts of the whole flex and develop away from the rest of it.

Service ratings are so damn poisonous. I get survey calls every time I have a doctor's appointment, and I've yet to give anything but the highest ratings because I can almost hear a suit breathing heavily in hopes of an excuse to shitcan someone. A good word won't help much but better than nothing.

Sometimes in D&D the dice just say, "Yes." And then you hit a miniboss for 57 of 58 HP in the first round of combat. (Paladin 6, 20 Dex, rapier, Dueling fighting style, Piercer feat, Magic Weapon cast, Extra Attack. One normal hit and one crit, divine smite on the crit. 8d8+16 in the face, baybee~)

Finally read it a few days ago after picking up a (digital) copy, and my only complaint is that it wasn't twice as long. The writing said a lot of cool things about militarization around disaster (through the lens of Godzilla) and the art was lovely.

Going for the low-hanging nerd fruit but all the protags in Persona. Maybe Maki in P1 instead since it's actually her story, and P2 Tatsuya is already bi, but P3 onward is a disaster for queer rep even when there's so much better chemistry for queer relationships than various canon straight ones.
