The paper describing our observations from Spring 2024 was published today in the Minor Planet Bulletin. We present measurements of (1083) Salvia collected over the course of 4 nights in Feb, and report its rotation period and amplitude of variability. ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/.../2024MPBu... ๐ญ ๐งช ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฌ
If you're ever inclined to observe (3753) Cruithne or (5577) Priestley, you'd make an old man very happy ๐
On the other hand, the City of Brisbane would love good photos of (5277) Brisbane!
This graph shows the measured brightness of Salvia going up and down with a regular and repeating period of 4.3 hours as it tumbles through space, rotating around and reflecting different amounts of sunlight from its surface. ๐ญ ๐งช ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฌ
