NEW paper an experience sensitive approach
This approach can improve the poor experiences of autistic people accessing mental health care, something which is an urgent need given the disproportionately high incidence of mental health difficulties & suicidality.

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38622794/ Important research about autistic people & the menopause and mid-life. We know very little about this, but the research is needed by hundreds of thousands of autistic people. Definitely one I'd recommend, with thanks to the team.

journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.... Lovely bit of research on autism, empathy, and whether autistic people are the ones with the empathy 'deficit' (Clue: Nope).
With thanks also Damian Milton and so many others who work tirelessly to get Double Empathy Theory properly understood.

The language of the Neurodiversity Paradigm is soooo hot right now. But you can’t just pop some neuro-word in place of “autism” and call yourself “Neuro-affirming.” That’s the low-hanging fruit of #neurodiversitylite. #neuro-affiriming #neurodiversity #actuallyautistic
