I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

Photo from Feb. 11, in San Francisco. It's rare year-round in California, but extremely rare anywhere in the US in winter - it shouldn't be north of Costa Rica. (There's just *2* birds in the US so far in 2024!)

I'm guessing that whoever wrote "It is widely known that judging historical figures by current moral standards is problematic, unfair to some degree, and rarely black-and-white" did not actually take that logic seriously enough to agree with the eponym committee results.
