stay mad. mad gets things done. I've always had a sneaking suspicion that the emphasis that is placed on forgiveness and 'letting things go' (especially for women) isn't for our own benefit but rather a way of making resistance (which is so often fueled by fury, right?) socially unpalatable.

Forgiveness is great for those who can do it. But for a lot of people it took a lot of work just to love themselves enough to be outraged at what was done to them, and that anger is valid too. And, like you said, mad gets things done.
