For the first time in years I have had to have my phone on “make noise” mode. And i have found while I am not a fan of the ring/alert tones (necessary as they are) i am very fond of the keyboard noises the phone makes. So small victories.

I remember being baffled at how ineffective the vamp hunters were shown to be, while being told theyre the ones doing the hunting and not in full hiding. But pretty people in latex and brooding made up for it.

It is kind of funny to me the best AI ads are just showing it like old google and other search engine ads. The copilot one could become an AskJeeves one (remember that?) just by throwing the word “Jeeves” before what the character wants to know. Maybe add the british butler too.

They keep advertising it as super high stakes but for who? Both sides will claim victory regardless. Both will claim the other side messed up by attending. Out of context clips to stress mental issues will be uses. I am not saying both sides are the same, but the end result is already written.

And when i did thst i found i had more days over time with 100s of words, sometimes just stolen in place, and not just spitefully typing in like “the” to technically qualify. Unsolicited advice so discard/mock as you may need. But if it helps do a thing you want i felt it was worth risking rudeness

I dont know you, but have you examined your expectations about productivity/progress? While not diagnosed it was a lot easier for me to write daily once my expectations went from like “everyone always says 100s to 1000s of words per day.” To “1-5 is good. Writing is writing.” (1/2)

From experience. If you are good to work with and hit deadlines with solid work on those low paying gigs (note the order and how good to work with is first) when the editors have bigger jobs theyre more likely to hit you up for interest before going to the submission piles.

As someone who works in a university this means it will know everything about one hyper-specific/hyper-niche topics, and be dumb enough to somehow burn the building down trying to pour milk into their breakfast cereal about almost everything else. You dont attain that level of knowledge without loss

Forgiveness is great for those who can do it. But for a lot of people it took a lot of work just to love themselves enough to be outraged at what was done to them, and that anger is valid too. And, like you said, mad gets things done.

This. Even a few pager helps give an idea and alt presentation for intended vibe, appearance, and tropes being aimed at. I almost never use default settings, but i do read them to see how someone who knows the system sets it up for a fun game.

I live in a house for basically 3 reasons. The most significant ones are basically economic windfall as the silver lining to tragic happenings. The other is we got the house at a steal because it needed a roof and we knew municipal fiber was coming but the market hadnt realized yet.

I have not suffered your trauma. But i have always had a hard time sharing anything personal. Even with a loving supporting partner who would never intentionally hurt me there are times i cant even share simple things. So absolutely. The tree everytime.

As a white dude i never understood or felt this, but knew it was important for others so wanted them to have it. Then I heard Shay’s accent in Assassin’s Creed Rogue and somehow it just clicked. Hearing an Irish immigrant who sounded like my dad/extended family made a connection i never got before.

Thanks for the new word! Also, unlike with tanks, its not like you cant just play the ild games if that is your preference. But rpgs are varied enough if you dont see a new game to your tastes, and enjoy the hobby, you may just need to cast a wider net.
