The question assumes a false premise: that voting can produce meaningful change (even harm reduction) for most people. This is largely untrue due to the electoral college.

There isn't one. The dems backed themselves into a corner. By insisting on a guy who had questionable mental faculties in 2020, they've slit their own throat in 2024. Tons of people (mostly left and far left voices) warned of this exact scenario 4 years ago....and here we are.
