Again. The podcast summary doesn't make it clear the person was interviewed. None of the articles about the podcast make that clear. And no one who was responding in the thread ever said that Scarlett was directly interviewed in the podcast, despite repeated requests for if that information existed.

Honestly, from a moral standpoint, I don't see a need to judge whether the forceful penetration was apparently consensual or not. The whole relationship is morally rape to me. Whether any specific act was rape by coercion or rape by coercion and force isn't going to change anything for me. (1/x)

Lastly, that Gaiman hasn't challenged the validity of the story says nothing about whether it is accurate or he believes it to be accurate. Silence here is just being a good client and listening to one's lawyers and PR team. It takes time to build a strategy, no matter whether a story is true or not

No. I pointed out that what I knew of the story (from the summary, the stories about it, and comments like yours) did not support certain claims people were making (like that Gaiman spoke to the podcast). Nowhere did I attack Scarlett. Or suggest she was lying. Quite the opposite.

More importantly: part 1 of the podcast is very different from what the summary and reporting said. Actual words from Scarlett and references to her messages. It is clear that Gaiman abused his power over Scarlett. He raped her. Amazing what actual information lets us see. (3/3)

I have now seen a transcript of part 1 of the podcast. There were no quotes from Gaiman in that part. Just interpretations of what they believe he thinks, with no sourcing to where the beliefs come from. There could still be direct quotes in other parts. (2/x)

No. We are people who took the summary of the inaccessible podcast and reporting of it as accurate representations of it. Turns out their own summary was NOT an accurate representation, so that changed things. By the summaries, there weren't exact quotes, so asking for a verification made sense.

From KT's transcript, I see lots of "Gaiman's take is that X happened." But I don't see them citing where it is ever from. My guess would be 2nd party statements and/or text/email records between Gaiman and Scarlett, but I don't know.
