These antivirals didn’t exist not all that long ago! Hepatitis C would have been a rougher road even 15 years ago. So I’m grateful. It still needs to be more affordable, but that’s a whole other challenge. For now, I Fucking Love Science, and want to kiss it. Science.

I’d like to indulge an I Fucking Love Science moment, if I might. Last fall I got diagnosed with Hepatitis C, an unwelcome surprise but one that made sense of some symptoms I’d been having. I got prescribed a one-month course of antivirals, took ‘em. Got tested this week and: it’s totally gone! 👍
