I don't always agree with him politically but Elon has done as much as anyone for the environment, AI, EVs, and free speech. It's amazing to have done the most in so many different areas.

Brazil should be thankful that Elon is making so many people interested in the tropical South American country, not threatening him. Having people around the world focus enthusiastically learning about the country and enthusiastically promoting democracy is great for Brazilians

That is just for compliance do you really think FSD 12.3 which I use every day without needing to intervene can't handle an empty tunnel? It will take time for laws to catch up with the tech, especially with a hostile government

To be fair he didnt know much about submersibles but he probably knows more about steel than almost anyone who isn't a material science PhD and many of them as well in terms of practical engineering knowledge and experience

A lot of people are dismissing the Roadster announcement because they see it as a small volume car for rich people. Well there are 60 million millionaires in the world, and if this car is as radically cool as it seems it will be, I think a large proportion of them will buy

I think that while they're generally amazing, he has found that the community notes for his own tweets are games by state actors. I am not condoning this tweet at all, he should correct it if the note was correct, looks like from the names he got the right ethnicity but not the right individual

I have a theory about why he wants reunification he actually said as much a few years ago that Taiwan should be part of China. He can't say this outright because of his fiduciary duty but as a free speech advocate he wants reunification because he knows Taiwans free speech will infect the PRC.

I think it's very cool it shows an impressive level of psychological strength. Myself I've found therapy useful but I'd imagine when you're as brilliant as Elon there's nothing my therapist could tell me that I didn't already think of.

How did Google screw up one of the main uses of LLMs to create pictures of people in the likeliest skin colors for the given context? This is what most conservatives do with LLMs if Google had any right wing engineer they'd have not released before fixing this disaster
