If I wasn't crushingly broke, I'd get D as a forearm piece. This feels like a good call for you though. Flowers, skulls, and sharks are tattoo standards. People just walking into shops would probably get a few of these

People talk about using AI as a sketch as the best way to use it as an artist. But what good is that? What are you supposed to do, draw lines based on a fully rendered image? That's just ref. Shop it until it's good? The shit's jank and all on one layer, you'd be better off just using stock pics

What bugs me is the articles acting like this is a bad result because of "gridlock," like it's just agiven the centrists get to stamp their feet and not work with the left. Passing center left comprises for 3 years is just out of the question because they'll occasionally need to hear lefty ideas.

It'd be really hard to start, but I've always fantasized about a creator owned publisher for this reason. The creators would have equal ownership and the admin side would essentially operate as a nonprofit, reinvesting whatever they made.

I feel like he's in a similar bucket as Man Thing, where they only get wheeled out to serve a specific purpose. Man Thing's to show how cool and not afraid someone is. Taskmaster's to show how they deal with his copy ability. Usually by being clever or fighting in some dumb dangerous way.

I paid a reasonable rate for decent work, but I did honestly have to shop a bit. I think that's also its best strength if you're hiring though. Pulling up like five tabs of different workers, you can real quickly compare people's portfolios and rates. Especially compared to contacts or Google

I've never used it for art, but I used it for finding an audio engineer once. For me, the appeal was finding a bunch of people with a specific skill and being able to shop costs/abilities easily. Like just googling "audio engineer" would've just brought maybe five people with good SEO.

I feel like internet (and honestly Tumblr) culture towards OCs plays a big part of it too. Like with a show or movie there's a more firm attitude towards what is/isn't canon and who officially owns a character. OCs and everything around them get this more "open source" treatment though
