2024 watch #415: Fly Me To The Moon (2024) The trailer felt like a Tropic Thunder parody, but it was a decent mix of Space Cowboys with Mad Men. Fun and wholesome, and Jim Rash is great. That line about moon jujitsu class wasn't actually in the lyrics, but I thought it anyway.

2024 watch #411: Maxxxine (2024) I liked it better than Twitter or Pearl. Kevin Bacon chews some scenery, it captures the gritty, sleazy 80s vibe, and has a great soundtrack. Loses points for accuracy because Ass Sandwich was released in 1987, but a video store has it in 1985.

2024 watch #409: Jade (1995) Didn't realize this was a Friedkin until now, which makes it my first, as I saw this dozens of times as a kid working at a theater. The car chase should've tipped me off. I appreciate it more as an adult, but it's still a nonsensical erotic thriller.

If you murder a string of Supreme Court justices and then appeal your conviction back up to the Supreme Court, all the remaining judges must recuse themselves with conflicts of interest. You are automatically freed; the perfect crime. No law school is brave enough to admit this.
