Where I live the traditional time for fireworks is Halloween. Until I grew up and moved away I thought it was universal. It's a combination of living in a forest that's tinder dry in summer and the traditions of the large Chinese community here 100 years ago that introduced fireworks to the region.

I have a psychotic neighbor (cannot figure out which house, yet) that shoots off fireworks all night long, truly. They do so about once an hour so anyone who fell back to sleep wakes up again. I wish this person harm at this point. They started early this year with this shit.
