Yeah I've noticed that. People on bsky just seem to not like reposting or even seeing reposts, only organic posts. On one hand, I get wanting to see mostly new stuff, but on the other hand it's difficult to get reach if it's on a post that's more than 12 hrs old.

[vent] I might be reading way too much into this, because soc med is weird, but anytime I do giveaways or literally put up coloring pages for free, it always gets significantly less engagement than my normal posts, even on bsky ๐ฅฒ is my art so bad that people dont even want it when its free?

Counterpoint: Etsy messages is where someone told me I was an "enemy of science" because I put a Tyrannosaurus tag on a product featuring Nanuqsaurus with a fluffy feathery coat because _no one_ outside of niche Tyrannosaur people know wtf a Nanuqsaurus is and I only had so many tags to work with
