Very cool style! I like the thicker outlines helping the MC to stand out against the background

It makes their little attempts even cuter because they're still just doing their best and the ones that bother with more complete nests are like the genius pigeons of their generation 😂

The nests thing is that they evolved from rock doves, so all they needed was one or two twigs to stop eggs from rolling away off the cliffs on which they nested. There was no evolutionary pressure as a domesticated species to change much, so they still only bother with a few twigs in general!

Wow, that's really impressive! Definitely would have assumed it took longer than that.

Oh definitely! City crows are fun to say hi to, because they're so used to being invisible/ignored that many of them will do visible double-takes at being acknowledged 😅

Well worth watching all the way through... pretty sad to see the poor crow's reaction to it all. And add to that, other birds, other wild animals, pets, humans (especially those with PTSD)...

XD; thank you, I completely failed at making it clear it was a painting-but I'm also really happy in a way that people constantly mistake it for a photo, because it feels like it means my rendering skills (for this piece, at least) were just that good. I love to make the unreal look real!
