Please vote tomorrow. The polls are just graphics. Voting is the only way to get the result.

Plus, if the thought of voting for Farage's UKIP was enough to spook the Tories into enacting the worst foreign policy in modern history, then voting for smaller parties matters just as much.

The first step is to put a formal complaint into the electoral services dept of your council.

Labour on course for biggest majority since 1832.

BUT only if you get out and vote.

There is no room for complacency.

Thanks Persiflage. My problem is that my proxy lives +200miles from my constituency. I’ve been discussing options with the leader of the Libdems in France. They don’t appear to anticipate ballot papers not arriving at the proxy in time to post back.

I totally agree. The Tory legacy is literally Shit and Corruption. They need to be consigned to the dustbin of political history.

Let’s hope that spurs a few more Libdems votes in key marginals to get them a couple more seats.

The number requested will be known. The late ones can be easily counted, but the reason for the lateness may be hard to prove. As for the missing ones, who knows?

So, how many lost or delayed postal votes constitute electoral dysfunction? 100,000? 250,000? 500,000? 1,000,000?

According to Vijay Rangarajan, CEO of Electoral Commission, "People can put them in the mail as late as tomorrow, the day before polling day," he said, and still be confident they'll be counted. Such confidence!

Mine is a proxy postal vote, i.e. my proxy should have received a postal ballot for me. All rather academic as it hasn’t arrived.

That’s great news. My council advised me my proxy would receive the ballot paper last week, so something is seriously wrong if Royal Mail say they have no backlog.

Well, they could count the number of disenfranchised voters who raise the issue, and they can count the number of postal proxy votes arriving too late.

No doubt there will be a lot of hand-wringing and shoulder shrugging.

The Tories are consistently…

Too slow to offer assistance
Too quick to serve themselves
Too stupid to do the right thing
Too full of themselves
Too arrogant to think of others
Too corrupt for words
Too long in office

US Supreme Court immunity ruling means presidents can 'ignore the law'.

The court's decision passed with the help of the 3 judges Trump appointed when he was president.

That's another good reason to instal a competent govt in the UK to combat a world going mad.

It's certainly not the most stupid remark Sunak has made, among hundreds of stupid remarks, but it is astonishing that Downing Street would pout out such a statement.
