Tonight I finished the do-it-myself “epic collection” - Jughead 176-199 (1970-71 issues). Great, light fun in each story, as usual!

The planets are beginning to align for the second annual Summit of the Ages, whereby two of your fave BlueSkyers shall appear on the same plane of existence. I don’t know that the nation’s capital can take that much excitement…

A little “monuments at moonlight” on our after dinner walk. My wife heads home tomorrow; I have two more days of work at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

It’s the only way I can read those books and gain any enjoyment. I have to set that script to the side, unexcused.

Ah, thank you, Edgar Rice Burroughs - THANK YOU! You’d kept me waiting a full seven chapters in Tarzan the Untamed for your inevitable discourse on Social Darwinism/racism/eugenics. Lovely to see it now out in the wide open!

It’s a great vacation. Public transportation is super easy, and cheap. Almost all of the museums are free. Great restaurant town.
I first came as an 8th grader in ‘80, then for my fellowship year at the USHMM in 2001, and have been coming at least once a year since 2005. We love it!
