Right now reporters are saying there aren't enough votes in the NYS Senate to pass this IOU nonsense. Keep calling your reps and tell them to stick with congestion pricing. Your calls are making a difference!

I called my state senator (Hoylman) and Assemblywoman (Rosenthal) and the person who answered the phone at Rosenthal’s office made sure to tell me that she was a co-sponsor of the original bill and with us 100%.

Until the @thewaroncars.bsky.social , I didn't realize other people felt similar anger. You're as close to real-time as I've been able find; Simon and Gounardes's offices are tired of hearing from me. Thanks for all your hard work, especially at this crucial moment!

What's the best way for a non NY resident to help? I live in DC but for many reasons am very invested in congestion pricing going into effect.

I’ve called all my reps and Heastie and gotten through to all of them immediately. The staffers are great and almost every single one has wanted to stay on and chat about how effed up this all is. Heastie’s staffer suggested they might try to work over the weekend to “figure something out”
