Oh, it’s ALWAYS entertaining. I’ve seen some things at my nearest, arguably-suburban Waffle House that I’ve never once seen in Downtown Chicago. And I’ve spent plenty of time in both!

It has its moments. There are parts of it I really enjoy. They’re just not… all the parts, that’s all. 😬 That’s any Trek though— there are episodes where you come away with wonderful memories and food for thought, and then others where you thought “I blocked out an hour of my Thursday for THIS???”

You’re missing out. I recommend going at about 0245 and having the egg sandwich. I order my hashbrowns smothered, peppered, diced and covered, but YMMV, it’s different for everyone.

…WHILE I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU SAY THAT, no. One is in the Florida Panhandle near FWB and the other one is in Davenport, Iowa. I don’t think they actually HAVE Waffle Housen in California, do they? I’m virtually certain they don’t, it’s only a Southern thing, right?
