All y'all are entitled to your opinions of course. The discussion is pretty moot though. Group DMs are slated to be implemented soon. I was just expressing my disappointment that this update didn't have them.

Regardless, I've seen many other people expressing that they are also waiting on group DMs before they make the full move to Bluesky. Likely for similar reasons.

My friends and I bonded through a book fandom on Twitter, and while our friendships have grown far beyond that fandom, we still want to engage with it while also having our private space to talk. A separate app for that is a barrier that would be annoying.

I agree that control is deeper than Harry realizes. But I do wonder if she also underestimates Harry a little bit too. Particularly his ability to gain the respect of powerful individuals, Hades for instance. And maybe more importantly, the least powerful.

Nah, this was about 12 years ago. A job change forced me to switch insurance companies(it wasn't a better one), so I had to find a new doctor. I ended up going with my boyfriend's doctor because he was in network and my boyfriend liked him.

Personally I haven't experienced this at all. I've had success with it in the past for depression, so when I went into a bad slump about a year and a half ago, I asked to be put on that again. This was while also starting a mixed Vyvance and Adderall routine. It helped a ton with the depression.

He was a primary care doctor, not a psychiatrist, and he was "old school". I didn't trust him to really listen to me much after that.

A new doctor put me on Ritalin after I'd already been on Adderall for a few years, his reasoning was that "Ritalin is the first thing doctors try." It was awful, it was like I was on dirty adderal. Spent two weeks randomly switching between too stimulated and lethargic AF.

I think I've only ever had the generic Vyvance, and frankly the stuff is fantastic compared to the Adderall I was on for nearly 15 years. I wish I had tried it sooner. I wonder how different the brand name would be? 🤔

I just had to do that. Thankfully I'm also on a pretty high dose of Wellbutrin, so it's not as bad as it's been in the past when I've been without due to some pharmacy mix-up or delay.

At this point I'm pretty sure I'm one of those people with both. Definitely all the ADHD stuff, but there's always been a few contradictory traits too. I can see how it's easy to conflate the two if you're not aware you might have both.

Personally I have to have socks because bare feet feels weird. I do have house shoes though for when I'm doing housework and need more traction. Socks slipping against the bottom of my feet is one of those ick feelings.

It needs to be built into the Bluesky app, not reliant on the phone to provide the copy link opinion since each manufacturer is going to be different on that feature or not have it at all.

Or at least I assume it is. Maybe it's a base feature in Android 14 but doesn't get implemented universally across all android phones.

That's reliant on the specific phone's sharing interface and doesn't come up on every phone. My Samsung has that same share tab that comes up, but I know that's specific to Samsung and their OS.
