Anyway, if there’s one thing that absolutely paves the way for fascism: it’s this:
Conditioning people to deny the reality before them and attacking, punishing, and accusing them of being “traitors” if they do not.
Seems worth considering.

I'm sorry, did you say, "yoots?"
What is a "yoot"?
(He was so good as a put upon judge.)

Sorry you are having to deal with this. I grew up in that kind of thing. Old house, no AC.
The worst sleep I ever had.

Yeah, it's still a pandemic unless and until we have an effective and easily available cure.
Just because the gov't said, "We won't keep tracking numbers" doesn't mean there aren't numbers.
And managing risk isn't living. And that's all everyone is doing -- managing risk.

My Rep is a PoS who never talks to his constituents.
We managed to get rid of a Senator who was like that last time, fucking Toomey, and I hope we can get rid of this fraud next time, fucking Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick literally doesn't listen.

As a life long PA person, yeah it will. Also, the hints about stopping Sunday sports, even in the red parts of the state, will hit hard. They go to church, then they watch football, but that part really makes it seem like they want Sunday to be all family all the time. No Football. or NASCAR.

Dammit. I'm trying to watch Idris Elba heroically die in Pacific Rim and you post this?
Sorry. You didn't know I was about to watch Idris Elba die.

That's my gut feeling, too. Especially if they get on the whole:
- businesses closed on Sunday, possibly no NFL or MLB?
- No overtime pay
- no contraception, and getting rid of no-fault divorce
- No Soc Sec or Medicare
- no religious freedom
Stop talking about Schedule F and other procedures.

Wait, it's Wunderkind, isn't it? As a person who understands that "kindergarten" means "garden of children", I really should have spelled "Wonder Child" correctly up there. Sorry.
For me, a lifelong stutterer amped up for that debate comes out trying too hard? I'm still benefit of the doubt guy.

I don't know either. There is no Wunderkin in the wings. @legalminimum.bsky.social has pointed out people have West Wing Brain here and are expecting Josh to pull out a Santos, but there isn't a Santos this time.
I think, tho, that messaging about closing businesses on Sunday will work. For example

It's not the kids, necessarily. It's the parents who were perfectly fine with slavery and raised the kids who are learning the slavery and racism they (the parents) were fine with was bad who are freaking out.
As much as kids dislike school, they also do tend to want to learn. And learn the truth.

I feel like the bragging post (like I had seen someone bragging about how much that thing can carry a while ago) is kinda old, but yeah, my '77 Skylark hauled more than that, and it was basically a Nova.

#1 - I hate Fox's soccer coverage anyway, but that is a terrible graphic. Are those little blips above COL supposed to be cards? And I have no problem with occasionally noting "10 players" in the graphic.
#2 - That puck was the worst thing ever. 50 years of hockey on TV and *that's* what was wrong?

You are correct.
I tend to think you dance with the one who brought you, but with the correct messaging about what Project 2025 means to the every day lives of people, Harris could pull it out, too.
Anyone else, and the media non-online people read are gonna kill us.

Get rid of him and bring back Kung Fu.
This might be referencing an earlier CW discussion about charismatic people solving moderately difficult issues weekly.
Seriously, though, I didn't know he was that much of a disaster for shareholders, too.

It was beautiful when it first aired, and when I re-watched it with my kid. And then he went full Caviezel. You never go full Caviezel.

And the CW did it well. They maybe stumbled into it, but they really let it fly with the Arrowverse.
For non-SciFi stuff (CW mostly was) USA and TNT had several of their own, including Leverage. And literal SciFi, later SyFy, had a few.
We had from late 90s until private equity and Wall Street.

That too.
But besides football, it really sounds like they want to go back to closing businesses on Sunday, and I grew up with that and it sucks. And I can't believe corporations are willing to give up 1/7 (probably not exact) of their revenue.
Sunday night pizza? Gone.

I am going by reports, and almost all say he had bad start, but I've read more than a few that said he got better as it went on. And he's done like 10 events since then all fine?
I'm also, if not JB, Harris and if you don't think she's going to get worse than he's getting, well I have a bridge...

Still hate it, callback or no.
Wait, this is about Supernatural, right? CW was so on top of things they had several shows with vampires in them.
