the little neighborhood supermarket where i grew up used to sell little trays of their deli cheese and meat reject and end pieces, the parts that were too small to put through the slicer, they were perfect lunches or snacks. but they haven't offered them for years and nobody could tell me why!
I once bought what I thought was a neat looking cheese from one and it was this amazing $12 nougat and I have never seen it since.
It was worth $12 nougat too.
