There are many actors, and it will be some long days until a government can be formed. The projected high number of seats would give NFP and Ens some wiggle room to lose their most stubborn members for a compromise coalition. Here, "who are the actual incoming representatives?" comes into play, too.

Die nächsten Stunden werden das Ergebnis konkretisieren. Und dann werden wohl viele Gespräche geführt werden müssen. Mir sind die Gepflogenheiten in Frankreich unklar, zum Beispiel ob in in einer Koalition die stärkste Fraktion den Ministerpräsidenten stellen würde.

Ich weiß nicht, was die Presse daraus machen wird. In den nächsten Tagen wird es politisch darum gehen, eine tatsächlich tragfähige Regierung zu bauen. Vorher kann Macron / seine Strategie nicht beurteilt werden. 🤔 Die Aufrufe der "Ensemble"-Leute zur Zusammenarbeit mit der NFP kamen denkbar spät.

The successful strategy against the far-right was initiated by NFP.
As they also won most seats and more votes, it is to be expected that one of their people will become premier.
Politicking will take place after completion of counting votes.

It is kinda early to go into detailed discussions, but the broad picture is clear:
NFP / Ens won as a bloc against far-right RN (Le Pen).
Now, this bloc needs positive projects and a strategy for 2027's presidential election.
