I mean, right know we know the broad kill-everything pesticides are bad and we keep using them. This has a lot of potential for a highly targeted pesticide that doesn't (for example) kill bees.

Don't really see it, unless they messed something up really bad in how they're made. Given all I've seen so far, any risk would be from the chemicals used to deliver RNA (very little evidence of risk to date) or potential byproducts from the protein it encodes (the RNA itself breaks down eventually)
