In the early 2000's my cousin ran a biz with several investors mining Bitcoin & other crypto. I invested some in his endeavor. I never knew my cousin or myself to be narcissistic or any sort of 'pathic'... The biz folded years ago due to costs. I sure wish I couldve recouped my meager investment tho

So my old 10yrs old 32" flat HDTV got fried from the storms. Ended up getting help & bought a new one. It's only a 40" but has the built in Roku. It's so weird, it's only a little bigger, but the resolution, color & clarity is amazing. Also cool I don't need to buy another streaming box.

Storms cam thru knocked out our cable Internet. Tried all night & this morn to get it working again. After 5 manual restarts and 2 auto restarts via setting up a hotspot thru my mobile phone, finally got system working. All this new update tech barely works. Frustrating AF.

Some folks I follow here have some posts about Retro computers... I'm remember with fondness in 1989 I bought my Amiga 500. I bumped it from 512K Ram to 1Mb. Added several ext 3.5" 880K disk drives. With DMCS, MIDI & a 2nd hand 4track recorder me & my friends pumped out 4ch 8bit stereo music demos.

I was 10yrs old in 1982, my parents Tandy Radio Shack TRS80 with what 48k ROM/RAM, 10mins to boot TRSDOS from a cassette tape, we only had I think 1 5.25" floppy drive. I learned BASIC, so I could play Oregon Trail.

I still recall I'm in college in 1992 carrying around 80 diff floppy diskettes for my computer art classes, & one day I get to find the school started requiring us students to buy these 44MB & 88MB SyQuest carts. Not too long later it was 150MB Bernoulli carts.
