Richard Prebble has an NZ Herald article about voter enrolment.
The first problem is that he uses a description of voter enrolment law as he remembers it from the mid-1980s. Except Prebble himself voted to reverse this in 1989.
It's not the only problem.

@siouxsiew.bsky.social I was so sorry to read about the threats and disruption you had to endure. You and your colleagues made such an important contribution to us getting through the pandemic as well as we did. It seems so obvious that your authority to do so derived from your UoA role.

I'm in a country that has a lot of sheep and I'm probably being a bit literal. This guy dodged the shearer for six years but it must have been really uncomfortable.

I thought that was Maple (I'm listening to it so hard to go back) At the time it made me think that I associate intelligence with good memory. Using experience and observation to make connections must require working memory.

🐑📖 How do you think time passes for the sheep? I'm up to chapter 14ish and wondering if things the sheep think of as happening long ago were actually quite recent. How long does a sheep live?
