I think fast food restaurants just don't do as well here as other states in general, not just Taco Bell. We have no Chik-fil-a, no Sonic, no Dairy Queen, no Panda Express, etc. We're the only state without a McDonalds in our capital city.

Did Walmart ever make their way in? I know during one of my stints in college back in the 90s, I wrote about their scourge across this country and I loved that Vermont had basically told them โ€œwe donโ€™t want yaโ€. Did yaโ€™ll keep them out?
