Learning about jail and prisons in the American South has completely changed how I view protests and direct actions. A lot of ppl simply don't understand how deadly these places can be for the average person, even if you do have a good lawyer to advocate for you.

they're doing everything they can to make blocking roads a nonviable tactic. obviously they're gonna mix it up. also it's cornstarch on some rocks which are not even the actual historical Stonehenge

I was just thinking about folks who were arguing the protests in 2020 weren’t going far enough etc and how those same folks are still safely offering commentary from home and launching podcasts and shit
