Here's a book a disabled person wrote. You may not find it on the reading lists available to abled people who consider our liberation a theme of their monthly content. Its supernaturalism is deeply tied to my experiences in madness. You can support it from @knilirabaj.bsky.social 's bookstore here.

Not so easy building a multiracial democracy. Good thing Germany doesn't have a horrific recent history that this story would make even more alarming.

He couldn’t speak above a whisper, he may be fine going forward but there’s no way you can agree to a debate if you think that performance is a possibility. You have to keep it to stage managed, self contained events. Let people complain, whatever you have to consider the worst case scenario.

He couldn’t make it ten minutes, there was every reason to say we’re not going to do this dance. “Trump tried to coup the country we’re not going to legitimize that with a debate” is a great argument. I just, how?

It was painful, anyone paid on his campaign, cares about him as a person, should’ve been crawling over glass to prevent it

People get paid well to think of stuff like this, a lot of them, I don’t know how no one stepped in and said anything. Frankly I don’t want to think about it anymore because I feel like any professional should’ve been able to think this through.

Spin one of the myriad number of things Trump has done to disqualify himself as reason enough not to debate. Say it’s beneath the office. “There is no debate, Trump is a criminal and a rapist, vote Joe Biden” and ride that shit out. But you can’t let him go out there tired and frankly incoherent.

It’d be an impossible argument to make, anyone who tried to make it simply would never be listened to again. It was bad, it doesn’t have to be the end of the world but it couldn’t be ignored. I’m amazed his advisors even let him go out there.

There’s an argument to make around the other guy being that much more dangerous, absolutely, but telling people that actually he was just fine would have been an insult to everyone’s collective intelligence. People don’t like to be treated like they’re dumb.

The man couldn’t speak, the idea that a positive spin could’ve just bottled up what anyone with eyes and ears could witness is wild to me.

This goes to anyone I know in DC or Arlington. If any of y’all need clean water or anything during this boil water advisory let me know. It’s gonna be hot as hell tomorrow so hydration is important

It’s absolutely political malpractice, I’ve worked in politics for years and I can’t fathom how so many people have fucked up to such a level that we find ourselves here. It’s like they were sleepwalking the last four years. It’s really unthinkable.
