My in-laws have opened their fairly firework-free apartment to us and Hunnicutt. He's on grandpa's bed sleeping like a baby even though he can hear a couple of them go off, as opposed to last night when various neighbor kids set them off for most of the day and made him lose his mind with terror.

Gabe had a nervous disposition, and I kept him on the trazadone for storms and such already, but he'd hide in the closet during fireworks all covered up and shivering. I'd lay with him, sometimes falling asleep with him.
