I’ve always wondered if it would end up being reverse flu season in some climates. I live in Louisiana and fall/winter/spring is the outdoor time while summer is when we stay indoors. Flu season is in winter but maybe COVID’s niche is summer? I don’t know if it’s a good hypothesis or not.

The three big influences I’ve noticed are (a) start of school/summer camp, (b) holiday travel, and boosters becoming less effective over time

Seems like the pattern shaping up is a peak in winter and another one in spring/summer.
