Well, part of the issue is not enough folks took that advice. A world where Gore won in 2020 or Clinton won in 2016 is one where Roe is still the law of the land and federal agencies still have power. But beyond that, the implication is nothing has changed for the better and that's just not true--

If your measure of success is a revolution you are destined to be disappointed (even if/when the revolution comes and you discover revolution is just a sexy word for war). But there are millions of people whose lives have been saved or dramatically improved by policy wins of the last 20+ years
