I'm increasingly neutral on Biden dropping out, but increasingly polarized on the absolute hatchet job the Times is trying to pull here on the guy. Shit sucks and we shouldn't give them the power to do this successfully because it leads to bad places.

Stuff like this, particularly the "only gave 7 min to comment" part, makes me thinks there's a sword of damocles over the NYT if the newsroom ever starts publicly criticising the coverage in a meaningful way. They risk becoming like Fox, where most people outside the bubble just ignore them
