The 58 is the best mic in basically every way as far live vocal reinforcement is concerned. I've finally convinced the organizers of our literary series to just go with wireless 58s and it's improved everything so much

I’m a little reluctant to say it’s the best mic, but there’s a reason it’s been the industry standard for 40+ years.
