PRO-TIP. It is a bit pricier than your budget airlines but... FLY AEGEAN AIRLINES AT ALL COSTS. It held the plane for us when Heathrow fucked us over; then, when sleep deprived me entered the wrong baggage tag, it still managed to find the bag, and delivered to my address in a different country.

I second this. I did the Frankfurt connection last year and Heathrow this year. Frankfurt was smooth af.... Heathrow I got half my luggage the next day.
