Took my phone to shop and it will cost €90, which does seem like a lot but I had decided that if it was under €100, I would pay to repair rather than buy a new one (tempting because this one's 4 years old!). But my phones are not expensive and I didn't even pay for this one myself. Fingers crossed!

One of many extraordinary things I saw in Córdoba. This former private house, now derelict, was bought by a hotel company who then got into a legal dispute. Meanwhile, it was taken over by a colony of cats. The colony is now legally protected and being cared for by volunteers (and vets.)

Dreat someone I knew had chopped a woman in half and left the bloodied legs standing up in the back of his truck, along with a huge axe that anyone could see. For some reason, friends and I were trying to protect him but there was no hope. Strangely preferable to my usual packing anxiety dreams...
