I replied to the contact, asked them to verify they had none of my details. When they verified they didn't, I linked the email. "Oh, that's from an older system." So I forwarded it all to the TCO again, they fired off an angrier email to the ISP. Eventually—finally—blessed silence. 3/3

Then there were advertising emails, opinion emails, feedback emails. I eventually contacted the TCO (government entity meant to solve these things). Someone contacted me from the ISP, telling me that all my details were removed from their system. Two days later I get another email from them. 2/?

Reminds me of a situation with an ISP. I ditched them when it became apparent that the locally owned and run ISP had been purchased by a multinational. Cue the emails. I was one cent in credit with them, and they wouldn't close my account because of that. That resulted in an email a day. 1/?

Eventually, as they do, the parents left them to their own devices. The darling still hangs around the feeder, getting their fill of red milo whenever they want it, and they still flap their wings in excitement when eating—as if their parents were still feeding them.

I got to watch sparrows this season just gone, and one in particular caught my attention. Its parents first brought the floofy little darling to my feeder. They would sit there flanking it, and when one had eaten a little seed, they would feed their fledgling.

We have some neat city pigeons here. Spotted neck turtle-doves are an introduced species in Australia, but I adore their slim and fancy patterns. Also, they coo like crazy but are very skittish.
