On occasion I do. 😂 I remember being stuck in a downpour when I was in Ohio. I had my portfolio with me. I don’t know why I had it and I don’t know why I was walking. I think most things survived but the art wasn’t as nice after.

I’m working on making my digital files more organized. They are all over the place. At least your files can be saved as a different type of file. You can also print them if you are worried about permanence. (Though don’t do it with the average inkjet. I learned the hard way that they die in water)

I'd love to see your book for the aesthetics. You say it's ugly, and messy but it sounds amazing! At this point I don't think I could do that. I've got too many pages in each book I have. I think I'd create more chaos and I have so much of that in my life already. 😂

I wonder if it's because it's harder to just drive across Canada. I've driven across the US and it's pretty easy to go to any city where you want in a straight line. In Canada it's more like a maze. Even when a place isn't that far away it seems like more of a hassle because everything is spaced out

Research agents before you query! IMO, the best investment you can make is a one-month subscription to Publisher's Marketplace ($25? $30?) -- to make sure you're querying agents/agencies with sales to reputable publishers. And if an agent ever asks you to pay anything? RUN. #AskAgent

I like to give my kids a choice to change his behavior before punishing him. Sometimes mistakes are made. Me: Do you want to be good or do you want to watch tv? 8 year old: I want to be good and I want to watch tv! Me: Good choice! That worked out better than if I had actually said it right.

I love shawarma. It’s just got everything. Meat, veggies, a tasty sauce. Especially if it’s at a university. Where people have to be careful and buy something that’s going to last them through all their classes.

The first one. The rest are all about the aesthetic. Usually restaurants that are about the aesthetic are usually blah places to eat. Also they get a bonus for having all of the dishes so I can see what they look like. It helps when making choices.
