Children who read become adults who read. I'm not saying we can't create adult readers, but if we are to change the lack of reading in this country, kidlit has an important role to play. And we CAN change this. We don't need to succumb to the anti intellectual trend that has taken hold.

LOL! Yes, I'm definitely more of a worrier than my parents were. He's an extrovert so I'm sure he'll be fine. I'm glad this is just a trial run, but driving home from move in day is going to be sucky. For me at least. 😆😭

I'm currently at a hotel with my eldest because he has new student orientation at his college tomorrow, and he'll spend the night at the dorms. Why am I so nervous? I'm seriously laying here with butterflies. I'm not ready for this.

Anything that guarantees a spot on the bestseller list is a scam. How could they ensure that happens as a prize? Plus it talks about redoing your cover but it includes traditionally published books? Scam.
