As it happens I was in Austin on Election Day in November 2016, with someone I was dating. They signed their offer letter that night to take a job in Cambridge, and now like me also live in Cranston. I had considered moving to Austin when I left Pittsburgh and I am glad I didn’t 😬

It’s a great city in a lot of ways but between the gentrification and climate change it’s not really livable anymore.
